doily pocket tutorial for Skirting the Issue

If you can sew a straight line, chances are you can help make a girl feel special.  The Simple Simon & Co girls, Elizabeth and liZ, are hosting "Skirting the Issue," a month long sewing series all about simple skirts. They are encouraging everyone who can to donate a handmade skirt to the foster care system.  The goal is to send off a hundred skirts, but I think we can do better than that.  Anyone want to join me?

Today I'm at Simple Simon & Co sharing a pretty little pocket tutorial, an easy addition to any simple skirt!  I hope you'll join me there, and then get sewing.

Love this idea! Did a doily project the other week, opened me up to the idea of using them more!
